Required Documents

While applying for admission one needs a number of documents to be attached to the application form of University.
Photocopy of Passport: the copy should include the pages showing data of the applicant and two blank pages.
Photocopy of Police Certificate: showing the clearance of the character and that the applicant has no criminal background for past 1 year.
Photocopy of Bank Certificate: a letter issued to the students from the sponsor showing that he had been given the full authority and had sufficient amount in the account to help him for living while studying in Cyprus.
Photocopy of Academic Documents: including all the academic documents.
Photographs: Four (4) Passports sized photographs.
No IELTS and TOFFEL required in some cases for the admission in college or for the processing of visa for Cyprus.
How To Appply
Residents of Non-EU countries need a student visa to study in Cyprus. They must be full-time students if they want to study in Cyprus A full-time student is one who takes a minimum of 12 credits in a semester.
Visa for students can be issued both by an Embassy/ High Commission/ Consulate of the Republic of Cyprus in the candidate’s home country or by the Migration Department in Cyprus.
A: Student Visas Issued In The Candidate’s Country:
If the applicants have an Embassy or high commission of the Republic of Cyprus in their own country then they are supposed to for visa application directly from there. The documents required for the processing are:
A fully completed application form.
Non-refundable application fee
Four (4) passport-size photographs.
Attested (certified true) copies of the student’s academic qualifications.
Evidence of proficiency in English (if possible)
A photocopy of the passport. Keeping in mind that passport must be valid for at least one (1) year from the date of the student’s arrival.
If the applicant is called for interview then he must have to appear in the interview with the following documents:
Original academic certificates with attested copies in English.
passport that should be valid for at least one (1) year
A recent certificate of good conduct issued by the police of the country of residence.
A recent bank statements from the sponsor’s bank stating that the specific costs of living and studying in Cyprus
B: Students Visa Issued In Cyprus:
If the applicant does not have any embassy or official representative in their own country then he must have to provide a list of document to the School/college they are applying for study in Cyprus. The college will apply on the student’s behalf, the migration department, for a student visa. The list of documents required is:
A fully completed application form.
An application fee of 15-30 Cyprus Pounds (non-refundable).
Four (4) passport-size photographs.
Attested (certified true) copies of the student’s academic qualifications.
Evidence of proficiency in English (if possible)
A photocopy of the passport. The passport must be valid for at least one (1) year from the date of the student’s arrival.
A recent certificate of good conduct issued by the police of the country of origin or residence.
A recent financial guarantee issued by the student sponsor’s bank stating that the specific costs of living and studying in Cyprus
Once the visa is issued, its copy will be forwarded to the student.

Time:
The visa procedure takes about one month that’s why it is necessary to file an application at least 2-3 months before the expected date of enrolment. In most cases personal applications are processed in the time of 24 hours, the same day, but it may takes up to 2 weeks if application need to be referred to Cyprus (depending on the nationality of the applicant)
