Hungary Visa Process Step-by-step Guide
The application process for a Hungary Visa can be quite tedious for those who are applying for the first time. Here, we have simplified this process into steps for better understanding.
Step 1: Determine the exact purpose of your visit to the country before you apply for a Hungary Visa. The purpose of your visit will help to decide the type of Visa you are eligible for.
Step 2: Once you have determined the purpose of your visit, simply download the appropriate Hungary Visa form online and fill it carefully.
Step 3: Attach required documents and submit the complete docket of documents at the Hungarian Visa Application Center. Ensure that you carry your Visa application fee, which is around INR 13,108.
Step 4: Once your Visa application is verified, you will be called for a personal interview at the Consulate of the Hungarian Embassy. This personal interview will require you to enrol your biometrics in the system, if these have not been provided after November 2nd, 2015.
Step 5: Once your Visa application form and documents are verified, then you will be able to get your Hungary Visa easily.
What Documents Are Required To Apply For Hungary Visa?
These are the commonly-required documents for applying for a short-term Schengen Hungary Visa:
Passport: Your current passport, valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Hungary, along with copies of all previously issued Visas. It should have at least 2 (TWO) blank pages in it.
Photograph: 2 (TWO) recently-taken passport-formatted photographs, along with the Visa application form.
Itinerary: copies of your flight tickets (showing dates of flights) along with confirmed hotel bookings, with the Visa application form. This is to show that you have a valid return ticket from Hungary.
Travel Insurance: Make sure to buy effective travel insurance before you apply for your Hungary Visa. It should be able to provide an insurance cover of minimum GBP 30,000 and have validity for the entire duration of your stay in Hungary.
Means of Subsistence – Bank statement showing sufficient funds for travelling, accommodation and other expenses, while in Hungary.
